Mr. Sekonopo is the Managing Director of the company and also co-heads technical department. Mr. Sekonopo is a Professional Architect registered with the South African Council of Architectural Profession, a member of the Architectural Association of Botswana, chartered member of Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and also a member of South African Institute of Architects (SAIA). He has a Bachelor of Architecture from Howard University in Washington DC, USA as well as Masters of Civil Engineering (Concentration in Project Management) from Catholic University of America, Washington, DC.

He has practiced as an architect in the United States of America until end of 2000 where he was involved at various levels on projects valued over US$50million. Since beginning of 2001, he has worked in Gaborone as an architect in private practice on varied and challenging projects.He has gained an extensive experience in Washington DC where he was involved in the technical team (fore front) in the designing and technical documentation of the George Washington University Hospital (Assistant Architect-technical documentation, then Assistant Site Architect). Still in the Washington DC area, Moatswi was involved in the design competition of several buildings including, the eventual winner of Maryland State Archive Building; in Annapolis, Maryland – USA worth US$40 million.

In Botswana, Moatswi has had hands on experience on several projects including; the University of Botswana library, Scottish Livingston Hospital, Botswana Bureau of Standards Head Quarters (whiles working for Paledi Morrison Partnership) - he was involved in the technical documentation of these projects (Architect-technical documentation, assisting project Director. In 2002, he jointly formed ArcSwana Architects, whom he is the managing director. Since then the firm has grown tremendously and has employed twelve (12) employees thus far. Under his guidance, experience and expertise, the firm has been blessed to be involved in various and challenging projects with the biggest amounting up to 330 million Pula worth.
